Provolone (Flanders)
The creamy yellow interior of Provolone is smooth and pliable. Provolone slices melt very well which makes it an ideal ingredient for grilled sandwiches, baked pasta dishes or casseroles. A combo of mozzarella and provolone offers both stretch and flavour.
Usage: Provolone is used as a table cheese, served with bread or crackers. It is also commonly melted on pastas and sandwiches or in salads and may be used as a topping on pizza.
